Willie Ambergen is a tax consultant and partner in CMS Derks Star Busmann’s tax practice. He specialises in the tax aspects relating to real estate, in which context he advises real estate professionals regarding VAT and real estate transfer tax, as well as personal income and corporation taxes. With regard to area development, Willie advises on the optimum mix of VAT and real estate transfer tax. He also assists his clients in making the best possible use of tax subsidies when developing and renovating sustainable buildings and area development projects. Willie also advises clients on the tax aspects of structuring investment funds and structuring real estate investment transactions as tax-efficiently as possible.
Willie regularly publishes articles and books dealing with real estate and the related tax issues. Each year, he speaks to various conferences about the tax aspects of real estate, and he is a lecturer for three different post-graduate courses.
