Luurt Wildeboer specializes in general administrative law and the law of administrative procedure, particularly in relation to environmental law and spatial planning law. In these areas his main interest is the relationship between the environment and spatial planning, and the consequences of environmental standards on spatial development, especially with regard to noise nuisance. Luurt’s activities consist mainly of providing advice and litigating for animal feed companies.
Luurt has also advised many clients on administrative law and other issues to do with regulated markets such as post, telecom, energy and aviation, and has represented clients in proceedings against the OPTA, NMa and various other regulatory bodies.

Luurt has wide-ranging experience of government regulation in many sectors, in which he represents both businesses and government authorities. In particular he assists them in obtaining and granting licences and in all kinds of disputes.
Luurt Wildeboer joined CMS Derks Star Busman at the start of July 2008. Since 2000 he has worked as a lawyer for Allen & Overy LLP in the Competition and Regulated Markets practice group. Before that he worked at the registry of the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State and the Legal Affairs Department of the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment.

Luurt regularly publishes articles on matters of administrative law relating to these areas. He is also a lecturer at the VU Law Academy.
