Lies Elias has been a qualified lawyer since 1996 and joined our office in Brussels in 2002. The Brussels office works closely with the EU practice groups of other offices within the CMS alliance, including CMS Hasche Sigle of Germany and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre of France.
Lies specializes in European and Dutch competition law and advises clients from a range of sectors (a large proportion of which are companies in the automotive sector) about agency and distribution systems and related matters, abuse of a dominant position and compliance programmes.
Lies also represents companies in litigation before the European Commission and the Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa). She also litigates for a number of companies in Dutch and European courts.
