Frank Leyendeckers works in our firm's Real Estate practice. He specializes in property development and sustainable area development. He is also active in the area of spatial planning and environmental law, including its relationship with property development. His particular area of expertise is the effect that environmental standards have on spatial planning, particularly in relation to noise nuisance, air polution and external safety.
Frank Leyendeckers has been with CMS Derks Star Busmann since 2004 and began his career at the Bar in 1992, before which he worked as a staff lawyer in the judicial department of the Council of State in The Hague, where he was involved in disputes relating to the environment and spatial planning. He also worked for two years as legal counsel with a large property developer.
He works for both, project developers and authorities in the development of larger residential complexes, shopping malls and other commercial property. Further Frank advises and litigates on larger (infrastructural) projects, such as the reconstruction of highways, railways and windfarms.
